Half Day Workshops - 7th May 2027 (Morning)

DBS Programming Workshop

DBS Programming Workshop

Time:- 08:00AM to 12:00PM

This half-day workshop focuses on the day-to-day management of patients who have undergone deep brain stimulation (DBS) surgery, primarily for Parkinson's disease but also for other movement disorders. Designed to serve both newcomers to DBS programming and those with some existing experience looking to refine their skills under expert guidance, the workshop will cover programming approaches across all DBS platforms currently available in India. Participants will benefit from hands-on demonstrations led by experienced faculty, offering practical insight into optimizing patient outcomes through effective programming strategies.

Non-Invasive Neuromodulation Workshop

Non-Invasive Neuromodulation Workshop For Psychiatrists

Time:- 08:00AM to 12:00PM

This half-day workshop will involve didactic lectures by experts in the field of non-invasive neuromodulation on rTMS, tDCS, and deep TMS. Newer forms of non-invasive neuromodulation, such as ultrasound-guided neuromodulation, will also be demonstrated and discussed. This workshop is intended for psychiatrists, pain physicians, and neurologists interested in the field of non-invasive neuromodulation. The second half of the workshop will include hands-on demonstrations of the application of various non-invasive neuromodulation techniques.

Interventional Pain and Regenerative Medicine

Interventional Pain and Regenerative Medicine Workshop

Time:- 08:00AM to 12:00PM

This workshop will focus on minimally invasive pain interventions using radiofrequency lesioning and ultrasound. Participants will learn directly from experts about practical tips and pitfalls to avoid for these common pain procedures. During the workshop, an update on regenerative medicine will be provided, along with the latest applications in the field and a look at the future of this rapidly emerging branch.

Half Day Workshops - 7th May 2027 (Afternoon)

Stereotactic Neurosurgery and Radiofrequency

Stereotactic Neurosurgery & Radiofrequency Lesioning Workshop

Time:- 02:00PM to 06:00PM

This workshop will provide an introduction to stereotactic neurosurgery, including the use of the stereotactic frame and its application for deep brain stimulation surgery. Principles of performing safe and effective DBS will also be discussed, along with information on radiofrequency lesioning and its clinical applications. Candidates will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience using the stereotactic frame directly under the guidance of experts.

Botulinum Toxin Injection Workshop

Botulinum Toxin Injection Workshop

Time:- 02:00PM to 06:00PM

In this workshop, candidates will be trained in the principles of botulinum toxin injections by experts in the field. Practical tips for achieving successful outcomes will be discussed, along with the various injection sites relevant to several movement disorders and pain conditions. The second half of the workshop will include live demonstrations by neurology experts, showcasing the skill of botulinum toxin injections in patients.

Non-Invasive Neuromodulation Workshop

Non-Invasive Neuromodulation Workshop For Psychiatrists, Pain Physicians, and Neurologists

Time:- 02:00PM to 06:00PM

This half-day workshop will involve didactic lectures by experts in the field of non-invasive neuromodulation on rTMS, tDCS, and deep TMS.
